Grant Funding Strategy

What kind of change would you make if you knew you had the money to make it happen? A funding strategy gives you the confidence you need to make that new project or program a reality.

A Funding Strategy is a simple document that specifies what planning is still needed to position an organization for success as well as what grants to pursue and when. This process usually takes three to five weeks and results in a list of 20+ potential funding sources.

From there, we interview funders to confirm eligibility, project fit, competitiveness and a host of other considerations. It is always more cost-effective to carefully select grant opportunities than to find out later that we weren’t eligible or had impossibly low chances of success.

The final deliverable is a Funding Strategy that will serve as a road map for knowing what grants to pursue and when over the next 12-18 months.

Some grants are complex 100+ hour efforts, and others require a quick letter of inquiry before finding out if we're invited to submit a full proposal.

My pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis based on the complexity of an application.

The Power Prospectus/Investor Letter is a tool to hook potential funders. It succinctly describes your organization, what it does and why it matters. It also summarizes the project/program you want to get funded and the impact it will have⁠—all in a visually pleasing one-page PDF.

This is used for grant funding for nonprofits and NGOs as well as tech startups as an investor letter.

White Paper Technical Writing

A white paper is a hybrid of a magazine article and a corporate brochure that communicates an organization's often-complex message in a simple, professional, and compelling manner. The majority of clients prefer to read the educational magazine article section of the white paper to learn about answers to their problems, but the persuasive brochure section of the white paper also does its job, of persuading readers to buy the product or use the service.
